How Much Insurance is Required for Truckers and Why Does it Matter?

In Colorado, drivers of passenger cars must have at least $25,000 per person and $50,000 per accident in bodily injury liability insurance. This means if a crash happens, insurers will pay up to $25,000 to each injured victim, but will pay a maximum total amount of compensation of $50,000 spread out across all victims.  Drivers of passenger cars are also required to have $15,000 in property damage coverage per accident.

If there are hazards at your workplace, you can take action to bring these unsafe conditions to the attention of your employer and to report them to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).  Employers are prohibited by the Occupational Safety and Health Act from engaging in retaliatory behavior if you do make a report of unsafe conditions.

Distracted driving is exceptionally dangerous, and texting while driving can be one of the riskiest things that a motorist can do on the road. Personal Injury Claims: Understanding the Statute of Limitations

Statutes of limitations are laws that determine how long a person can wait to bring a lawsuit after an incident that creates a legal claim. For example, if you are a party to a written contract governed by Colorado law and the other party violates the contract, the Colorado statute of limitations requires you to bring a lawsuit to enforce your agreement within three years after the breach. If you miss the 3-year deadline, you are prevented from ever making that legal claim.
